Anglers reduce new membership & introduce Amnesty for lapsed members
posted by rayban on Sunday, January 23rd, 2011
It was decided at our recent AGM maintain 2011 renewal fees as same as 2010 and also due to falling membership arising from emigration & the downturn in the economy, that an amnesty for lapsed senior members would be allowed. This amnesty will be available until the 31-3-2011. To rejoin the club, regardless of how many years you allowed your membership as a senior to lapse, you will be reinstated as full member with a once off payment of €30.00 plus this year’s renewal fee of €100.00. This does not apply to juniors/disabled and OAP, who only have to pay the present renewal fee The AGM also decided that all 2010 fees do not change for the 2011 season however that new membership fee has been reduced by €55.00 to encourage more uptake. Renewal fees for 2011 season now due and have remained the same as 2011 details on club website: www.gormanstonanglers.com All fees are due 1st of February 2011

Time to start reporting all suspicious activity in our area
posted by polanders on Monday, May 3rd, 2010
We seem to have become a target area for burglaries recently. To combat this we should report all suspicious activities to Gardai, for example... - shifty looking strangers loitering in vehicles or on foot - unusual vehicles & work activity in neighbours driveways outside working hours - strangers acting suspiciously in neighbour’s gardens Try to take note of vehicle registrations, make, model & color, as much detail as possible to include in your report
So that you can report quickly store this phone number for Balbriggan Gardai on your mobile phone... 01 8412202
