Further to Balrothery’s new open Community group meetings recently, this is a follow only meeting to continue the groups evolution.
Please try to attend this meeting to show support and to help the group form.
The goal is to create an open shared organisation to shape and market our historical village.

Please support our club by entering a team into our Annual pub quiz which will be held in the Balrothery Inn (Lounge).
Casting off at 9pm.
Cost per table... €20.00 (max players per team 5)

Great prizes and all proceeds go to club maintenance.

Balrothery Tennis Club’s regular Wednesday club nights are resuming from February 1st for 2012 now that our weather should be improving.
Non members interested in joining the club are always welcome to come along and give it a try before joining.

The Balrothery co-op goal is an open shared organisation to shape and market our historical village by the diversity of it’s citizens.

The Club AGM will be held at 9pm on Thursday the 26th of January in the Heritage Centre, Balrothery Village. All members welcome. We also welcome anyone that would like to join our club. We will be accepting fees and new memberships on the night for the 2012 season. We would love to see you. Two tourism/heritage projects for our village which have received strong support locally, from Fingal Tourism and the Rural Development Programme.
The proposal is we come together as a village and form the Association for Balrothery Community Development( ABCD Co Op ) which will be a business owned by the community through open membership based on the 7 principles of Cooperatives.

The primrary focus is to develop Balrothery a premium Tourism/Heritage location and local art/craft supplier, this will also facilitate the potential for grant/funding applications from Rural Leader and other avenues.

Everyone from Balrothery and surrounds are invited to a ’townhall’ type meeting on January 25th at 8pm in the Heritage Centre to discuss establishing the ABCD Co Op.
